NEET UG 2022 Results: Attention candidates, today might be the day when your wait gets over, as the National Testing Agency, NTA, is expected to declare the NEET UG results 2022 today. On August 25, 2022, NTA released a notice regarding the release of the answer key and the declaration of the results. As per the notice, NTA was expected to declare the NEET UG 2022 results by September 7, 2022. Once NTA declares the NEET results, candidates will then be able to check and download their respective results from the official website, i.e., neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET UG 2022 was held on July 17 in 497 cities throughout the country, including 14 cities outside India. Out of the total number of candidates, 95 per cent of the candidates appeared for the medical entrance exam.
In order to check the NEET Result 2022, all the candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

On the homepage, click on the "NEET Result 2022" link (once declared)
A new page will appear on the screen
Enter your login credentials and other details
Click on submit option
Your NEET UG 2022 will be displayed and download the same for future reference.
NEET UG 2022 Result live updates: What to do if official website crashes?
If the NEET UG official website crashes, then candidates can check their respective results on the official website of NTA, i.e., nta.nic.in, or on the results website of NTA, i.e., ntaresults.nic.in.
NEET UG 2022 Result live updates: Results in evening?
As per several media reports, NTA will declare the NEET UG 2022 Result in the evening. However, NTA has not confirmed the same. Candidates are requested to keep a regular check on the official website for any updates regarding the NEET Results 2022.
NEET UG Result 2022: Anxious candidates storms Twitter with memes
More than 18 lakh candidates are waiting for the NEET UG Results 2022. And while their wait is about to end, several anxious candidates have taken Twitter with a storm, tweeting several memes about the results.
For every correct answer, candidates were awarded 4 marks, while for every wrong answer, 1 mark was deducted. And, if the candidate didn't answer the question, then no marks were awarded to them.
NEET UG Result 2022 live updates: Provisional answer keys released on Aug 31
On August 31, NTA released the provisional answer keys for NEET UG 2022. Candidates were given two days to raise objections against the same. Along with the provisional answer key, NTA had also released the NEET OMR response sheets.
As per the information, candidates are required to score at least 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, in the general stream. As for the SC, ST, and OBC categories, candidates need to get 40 percent.

The Counselling for successful candidates for Seats under 15% All India Quota and 100% including 85% State quota seats of Central Institutions (ABVIMS & RML Hospital/VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital/ESIC)/ Central Universities (including DU/ BHU /AMU)/ AIIMS/ JIPMER and Deemed Universities, will be conducted by the MCC/DGHS for Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses. MCC only does the registration for AFMC and forwards the data of registered Candidates to AFMC Authorities for the admission process. DU/BHU and other Universities may use the score for any other relevant courses being offered by them.
